How long do your soap bars last?

Our soaps are known to last between 1 and 2 months in the shower if using for body, hair, shave, etc. and even longer if solely using them as a hand soap! To prolong the life of your bar, we recommend using one of our Soap Savers, these will keep the bar up out of the water and allow for it to dry in between uses.
Do you use coconut or palm oil?

No, SallyeAnder never uses coconut or palm oil. With repeated use, these oils can actually be astringent to your skin. Our Olive Oil blend base contains Olive and Vegetable Oils.
Are your soaps vegan?

All of our soaps are vegan except for the following: Almond Goat Milk, Milk and Mint, Honey Beeswax and Organic Rose soaps.
I'm sensitive to smell, what do your products smell like?

Sallye Ander creams are especially potent! All of our products are made with purer essential oils. If you are sensitive to smell but still want the benefits of using Sallye Ander, we recommend sticking with our Unscented Olive Oil or Oatmeal Essential Soaps. Though sometimes strong, the scents of our soaps are balanced and intoxicating! Heavy Duty Hand and Foot Therapy and No Bite Me™ have a very strong minty and herbaceous scent.
Do you use Lye?

Yes! Lye (Sodium Hydroxide) is actually a critical component in the saponification process. Saponification (the process of making soap) is an exothermic chemical reaction that produces soap + glycerin. Most major soap manufacturers actually remove the glycerin and sell that to cosmetics companies. Our soap leaves naturally occurring glycerin intact and this is one of the reasons our customers find our soap so moisturizing.
Do your products expire?
We do not use any stabilizers or add preserving agents to our products. Because we use only natural ingredients, after some time our soaps will lose their scent or begin to discolor - they are however still safe and effective to use.
Once you open your creams or balms, we recommend using them within 2 years. If oil separation occurs in your cream, just mix back in. Lastly, for optimal longevity, keep caps screwed on tightly and keep product out of direct sunlight. If cream dries out due to exposure to air, it is not longer useful.
When and how will my order ship?
Once you place your order you will receive an email confirmation and then another email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. We cannot guarantee shipping times once your order leaves our workshop and recommend checking your tracking to follow your package.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! All orders with a subtotal of $75 or more and shipped inside the US will receive Free Shipping. Your order must reach $75 after coupons are used.
Missing, damaged, incorrect item?

While we pride ourselves in our attention to detail when packing up your order. Mistakes happen. If you open your order and there is a missing or incorrect item in your order or your order was damaged in transit, please send an email with your order number and a photo of the contents of your package to connect@sallyeander.com
What is your return policy?

We do not accept returns or exchanges on our products once they leave our workshop, but it's important to us that you are satisfied.
If you are not satisfied with a product once it arrives to you, please send an email to connect@sallyeander.com within 7 days of receiving your order and we'd be happy to make it right!
Where is my order?

After you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation and then another email with tracking once your order has shipped. If you did not receive these emails please first check your spam/junk or promotions folder to see if they ended up there. If you still cannot find them, send an email to connect@sallyeander.com with the name of the recipient and the email address used to place the order and we will be happy to look up your order for you!
